What makes Healthy Prawns special...

  • Our ponds are located close to the town of El Morro, in the province of Guayas, Ecuador and surrounded by a nature reserve.

  • The prawns live in ponds at 10-20x lower density than other commonly cultivated prawns in the market.

  • The region is semi-arid, with salt flats that are ideal for prawn farming.

  • The water source for the farm is an estuary that’s free of agricultural or industrial activity and home to a rich biodiversity of fish life.
